Musical Theatre & Voice
Brooke Potts was homeschooled in Prosper, Texas and graduated from University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre (emphasis in education) in 2015. Throughout all of her schooling, she participated in both professional and community theatre and received private training in voice and piano in addition to various dance classes.
Post college, she completed the Disney College Program at Walt Disney World where she worked in the Contemporary Hotel and sang in the Candlelight Cast Choir in Epcot (and got to sing with Neil Patrick Harris). After that, she was an admissions counselor for University of North Texas and still has a passion for the college admissions process and helping students understand the higher education world.
She currently teaches at Grand Prairie Fine Arts Academy and specializes in Musical Theatre. Together with her colleagues, the two major musicals she has had a part in have been nominated for 18 DSM High School Musical Theatre Awards.
"They were consummate professionals and some of the friendliest people I’ve ever met! They were constantly giving me tips and helping me improve in my craft. There was never a time where I felt bored or that I was wasting my money. I love how passionate everyone is about helping me improve and being a better actor."
